\nTaller Cer\u00e1mica Vivas was born in 2022 in the heart of the Guindalera neighborhood, Madrid, as a space to create, share and reconnect with the essential through working with hands.

We believe in ceramics as a slow and conscious process that invites us to look carefully, working with commitment and respect for the craft, defending the heritage of craftsmanship and using quality materials.

Our pieces are designed to be used and enjoyed on a daily basis, claiming the beauty and functionality of everyday objects, combining tradition and contemporaneity.\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

\nHow we work\n<\/h1>
\n \n \n\t\n\n\n\n
\nAt Taller Cer\u00e1mica Vivas we work with a wide variety of materials and techniques. Our approach is open and seeks to deepen the creative process, technique and experimentation of all the possibilities that ceramics offers us.

Both in the production of pieces and in our classes, we use different types of clays: earthenware, stoneware and refractory clay of different shades, so we fire both low and high temperature, according to the characteristics and utility of each piece.\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

\nIn terms of decoration, we use engobes, oxides, commercial glazes, and signature glazes that we formulate in our own workshop, which allows us to achieve a wide range of finishes and room for research.

We offer the possibility of working on the potter's wheel, as well as with various hand modeling techniques.

Our workshop is equipped to offer a comfortable, complete and functional environment to work, designed for those who are just starting out in ceramics as well as for those who wish to deepen and perfect their technique.\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/section>

\nGive our classes as a gift\n<\/h1>
\nWe offer personalized vouchers to give away a 4-hour initiation class. In this session we will learn how to create a mug and a plate completely from scratch with two hand modeling techniques, as well as how to decorate it to our liking. The vouchers include the name of the person to whom it is addressed and a brief presentation of the activity.
