Handcrafted Ceramics

We are a space dedicated to the creation of handmade pieces, with a respectful look towards the ceramic craft and commitment to the revaluation of artisanal processes. We work from the know-how, with dedication, technique and attention to detail.

We offer personalized teaching, focused on the creative development of each student, as well as an online store where you will find exclusive pieces, made one by one with time and care.

Mission

We are an artisan ceramic workshop located in Madrid, where we create handmade pieces from start to finish.

We develop our own production of handmade pieces, elaborated with traditional techniques and contemporary reading. Each object is born from the work with clay, time and technique, seeking to unite functionality, beauty and personal expression.

In our workshop, the creation of our own pieces coexists with the teaching of ceramic techniques, in a functional and well cared space where each person can connect with their own creative process. Our classes are aimed at all those who wish to begin or deepen their knowledge of ceramics. We work in small groups, with a close and personalized attention, adapting to the level and interests of each student.

We believe in ceramics as a living and accessible practice that combines tradition and contemporaneity, and in the workshop as a space designed for creation and learning, experimentation and research, in a welcoming and respectful environment with the ceramic process.

Services

In our workshop we offer group classes for all levels, in a relaxed and close atmosphere, where each person can progress at their own pace. We also organize special events and workshops for groups, come and create with us!

Regular Classes

Small groups with fixed weekly schedules. We work with different techniques (potter's wheel, hand modeling, decorative finishes) adapting to the level and interests of each student. They are perfect for those who are looking for continuity and evolution in their learning process with ceramics.

Initiation course

Occasional courses of 2, 4 or 8 hours for those who want to have a first contact with ceramics. Designed for a creative experience with no commitment of continuity.

Events

At Cerámica Vivas we offer the rental of our workshop for events, teambuildings and group dynamics, using ceramics as a tool to foster creativity and collaboration. Creating together helps us to socialize, enhance teamwork and enjoy a unique experience.

Give our classes as a gift

We offer personalized vouchers to give away a 4-hour initiation class. In this session we will learn how to create a mug and a plate completely from scratch with two hand modeling techniques, as well as how to decorate it to our liking. The vouchers include the name of the person to whom it is addressed and a brief presentation of the activity. The date of the gift voucher is open, so once the person receives it we get in touch to choose when to attend.

✨ Today in the morning we celebrated a very special snack in the workshop to celebrate the end of the school year and the upcoming arrival of the vacations verano🏖️.
There were still some people to arrive and some of our dear students are already on vacation, we miss them very much🫂
🌻In this meeting each student brings to the workshop a piece that she has enjoyed making and we expose them, so we discuss processes, results, and most importantly, we take a 🍻 together 🤩.
